If the band size is too tight then the underwires are placed under pressure and may poke out the front overtime. Alternatively if the band is too large and moving around the body, this friction wears down the casing or underwire channelling and this can create a hole for the wire to pop out.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, can you sew wire back into <strong>bra<\/strong>? Use a tiny piece of duck tape to cover up the sharp end of the metal underwire, so it will be more difficult for it to poke through again. Don&#8217;t use too much tape, or it won&#8217;t fit back through the hole. Push the underwire back through the hole as far as you can.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, why does the underwire in my <strong>bra<\/strong> poke my arm? The underwire should lay flat against your body. If the underwire is poking into your breasts, the cup size is too small. If the underwire is poking into your armpits, the cup size is too big or you&#8217;re wearing the wrong style.And here&#8217;s my short answer: many soft bras are designed exactly like an underwired bra, just without the wires.
